Accountability

I haven't made it public before now, but I recently accepted the role of Board Chair at Absolute.org. It's an organization with phenomenal programs and a demonstrates desire to develop top level leadership and governance. It is my privilege to be entrusted with the responsibility of guiding our board and management team through this next stage of our growth.One of the things I have appreciated is the way Absolute has handled a response to the earthquake in Haiti. Having a history of involvement with an orphanage provided a clear starting point. A commitment to letting donors know what was done with received funds led to this post.As with any organization, we have lots to work on. Where appropriate I will try to share some of what we are learning on this blog.
