1 + 1 =…

We talk a lot about synergy, collaboration, and teamwork.

We genuinely believe that leadership is a team sport.

Today’s charity leaders understand that the Lone Ranger, do it all executive style that was common in previous generations isn’t effective in the complex and ever-changing environment we lead in now.

And yet, the vast majority of leadership training is geared to individuals.

Developing leadership skills and perspective one person at a time has some benefit. I’m currently developing and delivering custom Healthy Leader programs to select staff at Indwell, Compassion Canada, Christian Horizons, and Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides. Group sessions, personal reflection assignments, peer discussion, and one on one PACE leadership conversations make for a fairly well rounded and effective approach to helping people become more effective leaders.

But it can reinforce those dated “lonely at the top” mindsets that over-emphasize the individual.

Too many organizations aren’t experiencing the full power of synergy that comes when our top leaders function in interdependence for the greater good of the organization.

That’s why I’m excited to offer a brand new, 12 month, Executive Team Program that prioritizes the team’s shared responsibility for Strategy, Execution, and Culture.

Combining highly focussed team training sessions, feedback from observing regular meetings, personal coaching, and progress surveys; the approach digs deep into the dynamics of your team to help you become more connected, more engaged, more insightful, and ultimately, a healthier more effective team.

If we really believe what we say about the importance of teamwork, we need to be intentional about making it happen. This is one way.

Thanks to a partnership with The Generosity Plus Fund we are able to access grants to offset up to 75% of the fee for this program in 2023. Contact me to see if this might be the time to invest in your team.
